Take Back our Party
- The old democratic party has gone Fascist.
Democratic voters selected Hillary Clinton as their nominee for ’08.
But DNC appointed their own nominee.
Many Democratic voters do not find the DNC choice qualified, and are appalled that even though Clinton has the popular vote, a few delegates will decide the nominee in an open election where they are vulnerable to intimidation and pressure.
It is clearly time for a party with built-in checks to prevent power-plays by insiders. A party that serves the voters, instead of cannibalizing on them.
YES to Democracy!
NO to Fascism!

I urge everyone to get over to PUMA and give them support:

Post from Talking Points Memo (a pro Obama blog)
. . . I was thrown off of Daily Kos when I posted, one week before the 04 election, that Kerry lost.
How did I know this? I was the only one on Daily Kos making telephone calls for John Kerry. Only old squaws do this shit work. The young studs were busy showing off in blogs.
Talking to the Ohio voters, I learned a lot.
I found that John Kerry was history.
And I am telling you now, that if Obama is our nominee, he is history.
His one and ONLY crack at the presidency is to build credentials as the vice president to Hillary Clinton. THEN he will have the trust of voters.
Right now, he is a joke.
He is a racehorse being put in the KY Derby before he is ready.
And once he loses the bigtime, he is gone for good, my friend.

A New Party Emerged : NO QUARTER

I’m with you. We either reorganize the party or just get a new one. I want to organize the “million new democrats march” on the convention. How about it folks? Let’s do it. Or, if we cannot convince them, let’s vote McCain.

Please count me in. I really do not want to vote for McCain. I will write in Hillary’s name if NH allows it.

Check your states voting laws before writing any name in. In some states your write-in for Senator Clinton will just be transferred to the Democrat on the ballot.
Isn’t it amazing how our “votes” are just tossed around like so much garbage? Who gave these clowns the right to do this? Cause it sure wasn’t the voters.

I would love to join a group called “New Wave Democrats” that says goodbye to the facist Democrats of the DNC. However, and I do mean however, if writing in Hillary’s name takes votes away from the only reasonable opposition to the fascist front man (BO, of course), then you are working for fascism. This means holding back and watching trustworthy polls (there are bloody few of them) and joining the majority of your fellow “true Americans” in voting against BO.
I suggest that you back off, keep watching the “lay of the land” like a recon team, and clearly and adamantly hold your votes away from BO — no matter what, even if Hillary is on the ticket.
We — all those anti-fascists little “d” democrats — can keep ourselves informed and move in the best direction to protect this precious nation of ours. My hope is that BO will be exposed in the ensuing months and Hillary will emerge as a true democrat for a New Democratic Party. If not, I believe McCain is the only alternative — if, if, if you truly have as your first purpose to prevent a facist takeover of the U.S.

FlVoter – Thank you for this link.
And thanks, guys, for all the feedback.
I think that we should all get behind PUMA at this point.

Clearly, it is time for a DNC overhaul, including elimination of caucuses, and privileged delegates.
Never again should we have a situation like the recent DNC conference – where 3/4 of the public seats were given to Obama supporters.
Any democratic (or former democratic) voter who votes against the party dictated nominee, is a New Wave Democrat.

How to become a Fascist Leader 101
1) Write a book so folks can ‘get to know you’.
2) Get a good look and people will call you a ‘charismatic leader’.
3) Hijack the media. It helps if you have wealthy friends in high places.
4) Encourage the youth to propagate your message. Pay them if necessary.
5) Get some good ideas and suggest everyone listen. If there are those that don’t immediately understand your ideas, you can try the following:
a) Ask why they aren’t on board with these concepts.
b) Insult and cajole them into understanding.
c) Manhandle only in an emergency, such as that of verbal dissent in a public arena

I’m interested.
There’s something wrong here with the DNC, the media, and Obama’s highly arrogant and aggressive attitude and supporters – amazing the way they all ganged up on Hillary Clinton.
Only Clinton is strong enough to win the presidency. Unfortunate the way they “counted on us to fall in line”. They stuck 18 million knives on our backs and now they need our support.
No, if not Hillary Clinton then it’s John McCain.
Thank you.

From No Quarter USA blog:
It starts:
“Hillary Clinton won the popular vote in the Democratic primary of 2008. She won more votes than any candidate in US history in a primary, she won every major state in this nation, yadda yadda yadda, we all know this stuff now. We are all aware of these facts. Most Obamabots will never accept this and neither will their buddies over at CNN and MSNBO. It is the truth however. Democrats want her to be our nominee, and our president.”
We are true Democrats. We are the down-to-earth, middle class, non-elitists that Barack Obama owes his loss to. We are not all upper-class white liberals looking for a progressive where there isn’t one, Barack Obama. We are however made up of all classes, races, ages, genders, sexual orientations, religions, shapes, sizes, etc. etc.”
“We embody what this party strives for, and hopes to create for the future. We, unlike many Obamabots, have a huge stake in who is nominated because we CANNOT afford an Obama nomination. We have no health insurance. We are dropping out of or are unable to attend a college due to costs. We are the ones most affected by pollution.”

From the Puma blog comes this MOST interesting slant:
“Mr Dean:
I am a 50 year old woman who will not vote for Obama. I actually don’t have a long history of voting democrat. I’d like to explain that to you: I spent most of my life hanging out with the wrong people. I found myself surrounded by drug users, thieves, scam artists, all around criminals. I found that everything was justifiable (it made it easier to take advantage of the next person) I went to prison, then paroled to a place that was free of bad influences. What do you think happened when I no longer associated with criminals? Yep, I turned my life around. Now I manage a small business, I earn my money legally, my car is paid for. Anyway, the moral to my story is this: I wouldn’t have trusted “me” with a damn thing (let alone the most powerful position in the country), back when I was associating with questionable people. How in the world do you know that Barack Obama can be trusted when his associates appear to be bigots, con artists & terrorists? Take it from someone who has made the conscious choice to surround myself with criminals–but I have also made the decision to do the right thing and surround myself with honest, hard working people. There are so many reasons NOT to support Obama, this is only one example of where that wisdom comes from. Personal experience. . . “

I heard that votes from writing in a name on ballots could be given to that party’s official nominee, i.e. Obama. Different states may have different rules, please check before writing in anything! Your vote might be stolen again!

It’s important to donate to the campaign going on now that will unseat that corrupt criminal Nasty Pelosi. It is vital to remove her. She has taken her postion in Government and in 2 short years taken down America. Under her watch, Gas prices are off the charts, the market is sputtering, the housing market crashed, the constitution put in deep freeze, no bills passed, very few presented, guilty of voter fraud, funneled pac money into her husbands business, and she has spit in the face of democracy, She is corrupt and needs to go. Put your money on the table. Support one of the candidates running against her.

Pelosi? “Impeachment is off the table.” I ask you, how can anyone support that??
As for what you listed, she’s not capable enough to do a d*mn thing about any of it.
